Yuri, are you remembering I did not implement the extread fields of a node?
In resume, the svn repository is not saving information about "minor" revisions.
I thought it was somewhat hard-coded/undocumented how Versium deals with
extra fields. Are you intending to change the API?

To understand the process I have to look the "INDEX_TEMPLATE" variable and
then see the code in "simple.lua". There is a note in "save_version" saying: 
"@param extra          any extra metadata (depends on the storage module)."

But, as long as "extra" is supplied by Sputnik, I think it would be better to document
this field a little bit more, so Versium modules can deal correctly with the extra
metadata.
