Because the code for it isn't there...  My plan is to add support for
drop down menu for setting fields like category or prototype.  It
raises a few small UI issues.  E.g., what if the user wants to first
set the category and _then_ add it to a menu.  I.e., should it be
possible to set category to a value that isn't a valid category at the
moment.  Again, let's talk about it, but keeping in mind that this
would be for the next version.

I am not sure what you mean by a navigation tree?  Some sort of
javascript thing?  BTW, what's the status of SAJAX in Kepler?
