Right. But my point was that the _(Must be logged) syntax would lead
to thinking that changing that to something like _(Must be logged in
to print) would make this new string appear as the English version.

Which would not seem strange for me. You are placing a kind of magic
variable, but one that indexes its value by the locale, no?

True, I tested on the site. But I tried three different aggregators
and none worked. Maybe there is something wrong in the content type?
