Interesting, but is the syntax magic worth the trouble?

I don't see how using "_(Must be logged in)" is better than
"Must_be_logged_in". The first form leads to the idea that one can
change the contents as if they were the English version, which they
aren't.

I'd stay with an explicit Must_be_logged_in in that case, or even
$Must_be_logged_in.
