I am trying to re-think the organization of the wiki
(http://www.freewisdom.org/projects/sputnik/) and was wondering if you
guys have any suggestions.
Right now there are five sections, which are supposed to represent the
following:
"Sputnik" - the section for the first time visitor, information one
might want _before_ one decides to actually try it.
"Timeline" - pages where a returning visitor would to go for updates
or where one can find historical information
"Howto" - pages for "users" - i.e.,people who are trying to get Sputnik working
"Advanced" - pages for advanced users or developers
"Demos" - pages that show off specific capabilities.
Here are some of the changes that I've been considering:
1. Making "Demos" a second-level menu under "Sputnik"
2. Adding a top-level section called "Lua Modules" which would have
all the modules written for Sputnik that can be useful without it
(e.g. Cosmo)
3. Maybe merging Howto and Advanced or somehow rethinking the boundary
between them. The problem is that there is a fuzzy boundary between
them and it may not be obvious which is for what.
4. Maybe have a separate "Project Management" section (perhaps with a
different name), for organizing current work.
Also, please comment on the second-level menu items.
Finally, if you have any questions for the FAQ, please send them to me
(or put them on the page) and I will answer them.
