[Sputnik-list] sputnik 0.3 scheduling

I took stock of my free time for the coming few months and of the
growing list of features for 0.3, considered the fact that 0.3 in its
current form is already a lot more useful than 0.2, and decided that
it would be a good idea to do a less ambitious release sooner. So, I
divided the features that were on the 0.3 list into two releases 0.3
(code name "Cottington") and 0.4 (code name "Dish of the Day"). Those
lists both shown on the Sputnik_0_3 page.

I am expecting to be effectively gone for most of August and a chunk
of September. So, I want to wrap up 0.3 before end of July. Also, if
Kepler 1.1 happens to come out before end of July, I want to upgrade
Kepler wiki to 0.3 before that Kepler 1.1 is out. (In this case I
will either cut features down further or upgrade Kepler wiki to a
pre-release.)

The main missing features that I want to include in Cottington are
protected pages (Greg agreed to do that), Metapages and Widgets (which
will probably have a new name). I would also _like_ to include LuaSVN
and POD support, but I don't have time to do that myself, so they will
only be included if Sérgio can do the integration.

Another two features that I would _want_ to include, but don't have
time for is an error handling framework (it would be nice if we could
ensure that the user never sees unexplained error messages) and page
forwarding (show content of a different page if page.forward is set).
Any takers?

I am leaving for "Dish of the Day" all the AJAXification that I talked
to some of you about. Same with all the half-finished extensions like
Calendar, MBox, etc.

I've also looked some way of indexing Sputnik data, but found no easy
solutions so far. I think this would really make a huge difference
(this is mostly what keeps me from porting freewisdom from Django to
Sputnik, for example), but it would be a serious undertaking, so I am
leaving it for 0.5 ("Earth") or later.
