Actually, I don't know whether Sérgio's latest LuaSVN supports 2.6.
Something to check with him.

There are definitely people who want to _use_ it, at least André
Carregal has been talking about this as a nice to have.  I don't think
anyone has volunteered to _write_ one.  As with LuaSVN, of course
there would ideally two separate things: (1) a lua binding for git - a
stand along project, (2)  a versium plugin using that binding (part of
the versium tree, perhaps).
