[Kepler-Project] problems with lighttpd + fastcgi kepler

Hello everybody,

I was struggling the whole day to make kepler work on my linux box,
and, since I didn't succeed I thought I would rant about it before I
go to sleep and maybe get some help too. Let's see:

#1) Are there two parallel Kepler websites? This is totally
confusing, since google returns the wiki site which is incomplete,
while the (old?) site has more info. For instance
http://www.keplerproject.org/en/Lighttpd is an empty page, while the
info is here: http://www.keplerproject.org/kepler/install.unix.lighttpd.html.

#2) I can't find the fastcgi binary, no matter how hard I try. It's
just not there, what am I missing? I found out (not from the fcgi
tutorial, but from the WSAPI manual page -- not installation, mind u
-- again, confusing) that there's another package (wsapi-fcgi) which
kepler installer doesn't install by default. No fastcgi binary there
either, but at least I got to compile lfcgi.so, which fastcgi.lua
seems to require (it sais so when I run it directly). I suspect (not
sure!) fastcgi.lua is the fastcgi binary I'm missing but how do I turn
it into the fastcgi binary I'm missing?

Thanks! and hope to here from you! I'd really love to make this work.

PS: does anyone have any firebird bindings (IBPP would be nice)?
